The rising drum & bass producer, SkyDisc, has joined forces with the Dutch vocalist RIENK for an uplifting new single, Coming Down.
Released on Friday, May 8, through RIOT Records as part of the Uprising: Vol. 10 compilation album, Coming Down is a heartfelt anthem fueled by cinematic bass production, soaring vocals, and electrifying drum & bass beats.
Originally written in 2022 following the passing of SkyDisc’s duo partner and mentor, the track channels themes of grief, loss, and reflection into sound and vibrations. Driven by euphoric melodies, immersive sound design, and raw emotion, Coming Down is not only deeply personal and universally relatable but also showcases a deeper side of SkyDisc’s innovative sound.
“Coming Down was written in memory of my duo partner and best friend, one half of Skydisc, who passed away in 2022,” SkyDisc shared. “The song reflects the emotions I struggled to put into words in the aftermath of that loss.”
