Taking place from February 2-4 at the Pima County Fair Grounds, the iconic Arizona festival is a psychedelic melting pot of potent electronic beats and drippy funkadelic jam. Of course, the seven mind-melting acts gracing the top line are not all attendees have to look forward to. With 40+ artists, the undercard alone is enough to make any bass-craving wook or jam band hippie lose their minds in groove-filled bliss!

Phyphr
Fusing wonky drops of bass with electro-soul beats, Phyphr is an artist you need to add to your schedule. As one of the most underrated artists in the game, the East Coast producer has cultivated a sound filled with funky soundscapes, live instrumentation, and enticing vocals that will take you on an electrifying and soulful journey through sound and vibrations.

BOOGIE T.RIO
If you’re feening for some super chill bass-infused funk with elements of jazz, hip-hop, and electronica sprinkled in, BOOGIE T.RIO has got your fix. Bringing that heavenly remedy known to mellow out your energy, this live band, fronted by Boogie T himself, will have you vibing on cloud nine. With Boogie on vocals/guitar/keys, Frank ‘Animal Drums’ Castro on the drums, and Andriu Yanovski on keyboard and synth bass, the BOOGIE T.RIO will take you on a journey with original tracks, covers, and even some re-imagined versions of Boogie T’s solo tracks.

Bringing nothing but brilliantly filthy, bass-face-making wubz, Jantsen is an act you don’t want to miss. As one of dubstep’s most talented OG’s, he’s been dropping bangers since 2011 and curated a signature sound that inspired a whole generation of today’s producers. From his iconic Gutter Mix Series to working with artists like GRiZ, Dirt Monkey, and Subtronics, Jantsen is a true bass music pioneer and will, without a doubt, melt your mind once he takes the stage.

Maddy O’Neal
Maddy O’Neal is riding the high of a breakout year in 2023 and will undoubtedly take it to another level in 2024. Boasting a distinct funkadelic sound, she has developed a vibrant, multi-colored live experience filled with soulful soundscapes and euphoric beats that will take you to another dimension. Bridging the gap between bass and jam, the Denver producer has a little something everyone up her sleeve and will put on a show you definitely won’t want to miss.

If you’re trying to lose yourself in face-melting bass, don’t sleep on DirtySnatcha. Emerging from England and harnessing a monstrous brand of earth-shaking dubstep, the renowned producer will surely have one of the wildest performances at Gem & Jam. Fusing everything from dubstep to space bass, trap, and riddim, his sets are beautifully chaotic, wonky, and downright dirty.

Jaenga
Few artists have a story like Jaenga. Unable to gain the attention of promoters at the start of his career, he took matters into his own hands and traveled the country, going festival to festival in a transformed purple school bus. Now known as the infamous “Renegade Bus,” he made a name for himself, throwing renegade campground parties where he quickly developed a following and hosted artists like GRiZ, Eprom, Slushii, and more. Now playing major festivals around the country, Jaenga captivates his fans with a blazing fusion of wobbly bass, live instrumentation, and soulful soundscapes that’ll take you on a sonic adventure you won’t want to miss.

Mixing everything from heavy-hitting drops to trance-inducing basslines with elements of hip-hop, reggae, and dubstep, Truth’s set will be an absolute can’t-miss.

Andy Frasco & the U.N.
Can you even say party without mentioning the name Andy Frasco? Renegades of the jam/rock scene Andy Frasco & the U.N. will, without a doubt, throw one of the most insane celebrations of the weekend. Known for their multicolored sound and an off-kilter stage presence, this band will melt your face with everything from magnetic originals to electric covers. If this will be your first Andy Frasco & the U.N. experience, make sure you prepare yourself for impromptu moshing, crowd surfing, and, let’s be honest, complete and utter chaos.
