Released on Friday, March 24, Empress (Zeds Dead Remix) is filled with head knockin’ beats you can’t help but get lost in. Without compromising IMANU’s impeccable sound, the Canadian dubstep duo took the original’s glitchy drum and bass rhythm, slowed it down, and flipped it into a hypnotizing hip-hop anthem. Akin to something you may have heard in the 90s NYC hip-hop era, mixed with some heavy bass, the remix hits on all levels.
