Released on Friday, June 30, Buck marks the duo’s fifth release with the legendary Dirtybird Records as they showcase their hypnotic late-night sound through groovy basslines and electric soundscapes.
The EP first opens up with Buck as Arnold & Lane blend bouncy bass and potent percussion layered over dominating vocals that will surely get the party going. The wildness then continues as a dub mix of Buck leaves you floating in limbo before Werkem moves the vibes up even higher with seductive synths and wavy melodies.
“When we say we ‘got bass,’ we mean it wholeheartedly, represented in the track’s unique driving bassline. High-cut the bass and twist some knobs? No problem. Now suddenly, we have a swagger topline between drops that has the potential to blast these folks with the funk,” The duo explained.
