Just because Lost Lands ended in September doesn’t mean you have to wait until 2024 to experience that electrifying bass-fueled energy. The celebrated dubstep festival has teamed up with Apple Music to deliver 28 of the craziest sets from Lost Lands 2023 from Excision, Blanke, PEEKABOO, So Down, and more.
With the sets released solely through Apple Music, fans who rely on other streaming platforms will have to wait until the sets are uploaded to YouTube for this year’s Couch Lands. Addressing the concern held by those who use platforms like Spotify, Lost Lands stated:
“Apple Music works directly with Lost Lands and other major festivals to process each DJ set recording, identify rightsholders for every song played, and ensure that every artist within the set gets paid royalties automatically. Meanwhile, other platforms put all of that work back on the artists / uploader, which is a massive task for each set and can still result in an endless battle of sets being taken down despite the artists’ best efforts. We hope that other streaming platforms will value DJ sets as much as Apple does in the future.”
