Little did he know that in just a mere 24 years, that family-friendly hit would be transformed into a heavy bass festival anthem for the wooks!
Released on Friday, April 5, the Cha Cha Step by TVBOO and Mport is a wonky dance floor banger like no other. Not to be confused with its predecessor, the Cha Cha Step might initially get your normie friends on the dancefloor, but it will, without a doubt melt their faces.
The track begins with the original melody layered under TVBOO’s emcee-like voice as he swaps out the words hop and foot with wub and wook. Then, sounding all too familiar, the funky and smooth cha-cha beat is abruptly interrupted with an unrelenting dose of wonky bass and heavy-hitting wubs.
