Released today, November 15 through Memory Palace, VOLCANOLOGY is a seven-track fusion of headkockin beats and potent drops of bass. The album first opens up with the titular track VOLCANOLOGY as epic melodies and medieval chants repeating the word BLAAP open up a portal of sound. You’re then sent spiraling into the BLAAPverse as the hypnotic waves of bass take over with LIFE CONTROL.
Next up is the album’s first single BLAOWP as the duo samples Mac Miller’s voice over a mind-melting array of trippy soundscapes and heavy-hitting wubs. BLAAP then brings the bounce on HERE I IS featuring Motorkam before bending reality with the cosmic bass drops of FANCY SHAMPOO.
GLADIUS then penetrates your mind with a fusion of chirping birds, hip-hop heavy beats, and the tight rhymes of hip-hop icon Curren$y. Last but not least the record concludes with a rush of psychedelia on MUSHROOMS as BLAPP blends Wreckno’s captivating vocals with immersive dance-fueled beats and all-consuming bass.
