Wiley, the rising bass producer repping Indiana, has erupted into the new year with a massive, heavy-hitting EP, Rug Burn.
Released today, January 8, through Wubaholics, Rug Burn highlights Wiley’s bass-forward sound design as he sets the stage for a breakout year where he’ll join Tape B as direct support for his upcoming tour.
Spanning across three monstrous tracks, the EP is filled with scorching waves of face-melting bass that’ll incite pandemonium on the dance floor. From the rumbling growls and wompy basslines of Rug Burn to the blasting bass drops of Reject and the dizzying wubbed-out madness of Black Opal with Ujuu, the Rug Burn EP is an unruly sonic experience that’ll get the people going.
“I’m really thrilled with how this project turned out,” Wiley noted. “It feels like an evolution of my sound. The process of crafting these tunes has been incredibly rewarding, and I can’t wait to dive even deeper into exploring heavier, more dynamic tracks. This is just the beginning!”
