Released on Wednesday, September 24, Snack Pack Vol. 1 blends three fan-favorite hits with two brand-new tunes that stand as a testament to the bass trio’s ever-evolving sound. Unlike concept-driven projects, like Escapism Vol. 1, the Snack Pack series isn’t designed as a cohesive sonic journey. Instead, it features tracks that are created for nothing other than bringing the vibes and quite possibly melting your face.
On top of their breakout single Front to Back, the NITTI collab Like This, and their soulful bass flip Postman, the EP blesses listeners with two massive IDs that offer a glimpse into the next chapter of the Levity experience. From the wompy heavy-htting wubs of Salamander to the dreamy fusion of indie and bass music on By My Side, Levity not only captures the chemistry that propelled them into stardom, but delivers an absolute must-listen.
“This has been in the works for a longggg time now,” Levity shared. “As we’ve talked about before, we want our projects to feel like a journey & have a story/themes/concepts within them…but sometimes we just wanna put out songs cuz we like them, even if they don’t fit one of the stories or concepts we’re working on!! Which is how Snack Pack came about! A home for fun songs we make that feel like a variety of “snacks” or treats from us to you.”
