A year after dropping his debut EP Wonksgiving, WonkyWilla is back with a second helping of wubs with Wonksgiving Vol. II.
Released today, November 26, Wonksgiving Vol. II captures the spirit of giving back with a healthy serving of funky bass and wompy dubstep. Spanning across three tracks, the EP immerses listeners in Wonky’s ever-expanding world of bass and imagination as each track launches you deeper into the cosmos.
From the hip-hop-infused dubstep on The System feat. Homemade Spaceship and Def3 to the mind-warping wubs of Woozy, and the unruly bass drops on Algorithmic, Wonksgiving Vol. II will fill you up with that bass-heavy flavor.
But, of course, with WonkyWilla, it’s not just about the wubs but giving back. The release directly coincides with Wonksgiving, his annual charity event returning to Texas tonight for Thanksgiving Eve.
Partnering with Texas CASA, the show will donate ticket proceeds to support children in need while also hosting a food and clothing drive for local families. In addition, fans who donate at the event will be entered to win exclusive merchandise and festival passes, furthering WonkyWilla’s message of gratitude, generosity, and unity through music.
