The multi-faceted bass maestro, Steller, is kicking off 2026 with a heavy-hitting new EP, Shifting The Lens.
Released today, February 20, Shifting The Lens is a four-track immersion into sound and vibrations as the quickly rising producer showcases her ever-evolving artistry through reality-bending waves of bass and profound sonic storytelling.
Arriving alongside the announcement of Steller’s Shifting The Lens headline tour, the EP not only marks a career-defining moment but sets the stage for a massive 2026 run.
Shifting The Lens was inspired by spiritual guru Ram Dass.
Channeling her heavy-bass sound design into an introspective sonic narrative, Steller dives into themes deeply rooted in raw emotion, mental health, and philosophical reflection. Inspired by the concept of turning the lens inward from Ram Dass’s iconic book Be Here Now, the EP takes listeners on a reality-bending journey, reminding listeners that nothing is ever what it seems.
“I wanted to write this project from a concept instead of free-flowing. A line in ‘Be Here Now’ [the iconic 1971 book from Ram Dass on spirituality, yoga, and meditation] about ‘turning the lens inward’ sparked the idea and everything developed from there,” Steller explained. “Around the same time, I was going through major life transitions, and that notion of perception really resonated. Instead of thinking ‘why is this happening to me,’ I shifted it to ‘this is happening so I can grow,’ and it changed everything.”
Steller Embarks on a journey of transformation.
“When you change your perception, that is when miracles happen.” Capturing her personal transformation, each track explores a different facet of growth while simultaneously launching you into another dimension.
Kicking things off with the titular track, Shifting The Lens Steller immediately alters your perception with a fury of deep cutting, otherworldly bass. The next track, Universe Provides, then slows things down with waves of hip-hop-inspired downtempo beats before the mind-bending wubs of Bring The Energy blast you straight into oblivion. Lastly, Frames Of Infinity closes things out with transcendent soundscapes and soul-stirring echoes of bass, reflecting infinite possibilities of our reality.
“I am so excited for this tour and to finally play these tracks out,” Steller proclaims. “Some of the songs are moody and introspective, so there will be intentional downtempo moments, but overall it is going to feel like a fun, high-energy journey. We are limitless.”
