Released on Friday, August 25, That’s What I’m Talking About unleashes a furry of hard-hitting bass that has already sent crowds at Grizmas in July, Red Rocks, and more into head-knockin frenzies.
Sampling a snippet from the iconic hip-hop-inspired musical Hamilton, the track starts off with a hypnotic repeating beat leading into a crazed voice screaming, “Alright, alright, that’s what I’m talking about!” Then, without a moment to spare, Smoakland releases a line of equally defiant and face-melting bass blasting you deep into oblivion.
