Meduso has joined forces with Denver vocalist Zoso for a heavy-hitting reimagination of the Deftones’ iconic track Rosemary.

Released on Friday, August 28, Rosemary marks the first standalone release from Meduso’s new LIQUID METAL creative world, while blasting listeners to a place where dubstep and progressive rock collide.

Rather than approaching the track as a traditional remix, Meduso rebuilds the original from the ground up, pairing newly recorded vocals from Zoso with cinematic soundscapes, crushing bass drops, and the alt-rock influence that has long shaped his journey as a producer.

First introduced during his 50-minute LIQUID METAL: ID Showcase, Rosemary not only pays homage to the longstanding impact Deftones have made on his style throughout his career but offers a window into the larger vision behind LIQUID METAL and his ever-evolving sound, deeply rooted in transformation.

Arriving at a pivotal point in that evolution, Rosemary is backed by a packed run of live appearances for Meduso. Fresh off a trip to Iceland for Eclipse Festival during August’s total solar eclipse, he heads to Of The Trees’ Camp Alderwild on August 29 before making upcoming appearances at Sacred Acre Alaska and Liquid Stranger’s Wakaan Music Festival.
