Following his immersion into bass music and just ahead of a new single and a nationwide tour, Barclay Crenshaw has released a visually stunning, bass-fueled set inside a random warehouse in the heart of Detroit Warehouse.
“I found a Detroit warehouse and played an insane set,” the DJ formerly known as Claude VonStrok explained.
Released just before the new year on December 27, this unique audiovisual experience was directed by Anthony Earnest Garth, who’s known for his work with The White Stripes, Eminem, and D12. Showcasing a full production with six cameras and two drones, he is able to perfectly capture both the raw industrial esthetic and Barclay Crenshaw’s new undeniable sound. Blending everything from experimental bass, electronica, and hip-hop, he not only delivers a mind-blowing sonic adventure but offers fans a glimpse of what’s to come with the Open Channel Tour.
