Early last week, the bass scene was swept into a whirlwind of speculation after Of The Trees posted a cryptic riddle: “We have legs but no flesh or bone, we have different colors of our own.”
Fans quickly decoded the riddle as referring to “pants,” but that was only the beginning.
The real clue was hidden on the pants he wore in the post, in the form of GPS coordinates. Those coordinates, “37.93437, -107.80720,” pointed directly to Colorado’s Telluride Town Park, hinting at a possible event in Telluride.
Now, five days later, Of The Trees has officially confirmed the rumors.
Taking place August 22–23, the visionary producer will host the first large-scale electronic music event in Telluride since Pretty Lights in 2016.
Set against the breathtaking Rocky Mountain backdrop, fans can expect an immersive, bass-fueled experience complete with camping, curated late-night events, hiking, and more.
“My team and I are incredibly excited to bring a concert experience to a location where the natural beauty is perhaps an even bigger centerpiece to the experience than the show itself.” Of The Trees explained. “This is the beginning of realizing the dream I’ve always had of hosting events that bring people together to a place where nature and music are intertwined in a way such as this.”
While the lineup and ticket information will be revealed shortly, today’s announcement solidifies the dates for what promises to be an unforgettable event.
