Digital Ethos returns to HypnoVizion with yet another bass-heavy creation, Get Busy.
Released on Friday, May 30, Get Busy, marks the Philadelphia producer’s third annual release on Rezz’s boundary-pushing label.
Diving into a darker, grittier sonic territory, the track fuses everything from mind-warping soundscapes to commanding vocal chops and grimy beats into a captivating bass-heavy experience. From the unfiltered distortion to the wubby heavy-hitting drops the track not only highlights Digital Ethos’ sonic evolution but is an absolute must-listen.
“This track initially started as two separate projects, until I realized a lot of tonal similarities that led me to fusing the two together,” Digital Ethos explained. “I feel like sonically, ‘Get Busy’ is a true embodiment of the evolution of my sound. Rap infused, swung grooves, with a lot of grit. I always push myself to make 2 very different drops in each song, to capture those feelings of a sonic journey.”
