Boogie T and ill.gates have come together to deliver their long-awaited collab EP, What U Want.
Released on Wednesday, July 23, What U Want is a three-track trip through wompy bass, brain-tickling wubs, and the raw, free-spirited energy of youth.
Serving as a bass-riddled reminder to embrace that inner child, the record was sparked by the rediscovery of Boogie T’s first-ever music demo as a 10-year-old kid.
Featuring direct samples from the demo itself, the titular track What U Want infuses vocals from a young Boogie with a potent dose of filthy wubs and headkockin beats.
Accompanied by the wonky chaos of the opener Trash Bandicoot and the grimey bass drops of Wait, the record not only reaffirms the duo’s status as bass music icons but serves as a call to action to follow your dreams!
