Alright, alright, alright, HEYZ, the unhinged bass maestro, is turning up the heat with his latest EP HEYZ’D and Confused.
Released on Friday, August 1 through Bassrush Records, HEYZ’D and Confused takes listeners on a head-spinning adventure where the road is unpredictable but the bass hits hard.
Driven by cuts of trip-inducing narration and potent wub-infused madness, each track unfolds like chapters of a vibrant yet chaotic psychedelic experience.
From the haunting soundscapes and time-warping vibrations of the opener HEYZ’D and Confused, to the explosive cadence of the lead single Onomono, and the wub-riddled distortion of Demons, HEYZ unlocks another door of his boundary-pushing sound. Then, closing out the hazy trip with a barrage of swirling atmospheric basson Fantasy, the EP not only takes you on a ride but is arguably HEYZ’s most cohesive project to date.
“‘HEYZ’D and Confused’ is exactly how I feel 90 percent of the time,” HEYZ explained. “It’s my favorite kind of chaos, fun, unpredictable, a little unhinged, but it still hits you right in the soul.
