Smoakland and OG Nixin have joined forces to deliver a heavy bass banger, Head Bustah.
Released on Friday, July 10, Head Bustah marks the debut of OG Nixin‘s HOTBOX, a new project designed to share music that doesn’t particularly fit into the aggressive fusion of trap and dubstep that has come to define his sound.
Yet, that doesn’t mean Head Bustah doesn’t go undeniably hard. Weaving OG Nixin‘s gritty sound design and raw West Coast energy with Smoakland‘s old school flavor, Head Bustah not only sees the pair effortlessly blend their signature styles into a weed-induced fury of heavy-hitting bass, but kicks off the HOTBOX era with an absolute heater.
“HOTBOX is not a replacement for OG Nixin. It’s simply an extension of who I am as an artist and a space where I can create freely. I’ll be releasing a lot of HOTBOX music over the next few months while continuing with the OG Nixin project as well.” OG Nixin shared. “I’m really excited to show y’all a different part of me…starting with the first release with Smoakland.”
