MARAH Delivers Genre-Blurring 4-Track EP ‘LULA’ on Deadbeats

MARAH releases 'LULA,' her second EP and first full Deadbeats project, blending dubstep, trap, techno, and UK club influences across four tracks.

Just weeks after opening for Zeds Dead at Deadrocks for her Red Rocks debut, MARAH is back with her second EP, LULA.

Released on Friday, July 24 through Deadbeats, LULA lands as the Vancouver-based producer’s first full-length project on the iconic Zeds Dead imprint while capturing the full scope of her genre-bending sound.

Dismantling the limits between genres, MARAH leans into contrast, balancing high-impact bass with deep melodic moments. Through four festival-ready tracks, the EP weaves between dubstep, trap, techno, and UK club influences, creating an expansive sonic experience designed to light up the dancefloor.

From the rolling basslines of Talk To Me to the high-octane beats of LOUDER with Ugly Lungs, the club-ready grooves of TAKE IT featuring Crucial, and the emotionally charged title track LULA with Jessy Covets, the EP not only reflects the sounds that shaped MARAH’s rise but makes it clear she’s just getting started.

“This release is a body of work that truly represents me as an artist. It captures everything I love about music,” MARAH explained. “It’s heavy, deep, fun, exciting, and personal. Every part of me exists within these songs, and this project truly is the most honest reflection of who I am creatively. I’m incredibly grateful and honoured to have my second EP debut on Deadbeats.”
