Skilah, one of electronic music’s fastest-rising new voices, is back with an electrifying new single, Dance MF.
Released on Friday, August 7 through Breakaway, Dance MF arrives in the midst of a breakout year for the 23-year-old producer, who’s fresh off massive performances at festivals like Coachella, Ubbi Dubbi, Metamorphosis, and more.
Fueled by her dark, hard-hitting signature sound, the track blends an array of bouncy grooves, club-centric vocals, and fluttering drops of bass that will undoubtedly light up the dance floor. “This is probably one of my favorite records to play live,” Skilah noted. “Everyone expects the drop to stay the same all the way through, but the second buildup flips into a bass drop instead, and seeing people’s reactions in that moment is always so fun.”
