Set against the natural canopy of Mulberry Mountain, Wakaan Fest continues to stand as one of electronic music’s most vital gatherings for leftfield bass culture. The three-day event pairs heavyweight headliners with underground acts testing the limits of sound system design, keeping community and creative autonomy at the forefront of the experience. Now heading into its sixth chapter, the festival remains a rare space where sonic experimentation takes priority over predictable festival formulas.
