GRiZ has joined forces with John Summit and Absolutely for a massive remix of their euphoric dance anthem Don’t Believe It.
Released today, October 2, the Don’t Believe It (GRiZ Remix) was first debuted during the historic GRIZJOHNICS b3b (GRiZ, John Summit, Subtronics) at Pacha NYC for the Experts Only Festival afterparty. When GRiZ dropped the rework as a surprise live on stage, John Summit wasted little to no time turning the viral festival moment into an official release.
“When GRiZ dropped this remix as a surprise during our b3b, I knew it needed a release asap,” John Summit shared.
Injecting the original’s soaring vocals and melodic synths with an eruption of wubby, hard-hitting drops of bass, GRiZ not only transforms the acclaimed dance hit into a wonky melodic bass banger, but once again highlights the undeniable versatility of his sound.
The Don’t Believe It (GRiZ Remix) marks the second official remix between the two electronic music icons following GRiZ’s 2023 remix of Where You Are, which begs the question: When will John Summit and GRiZ put out an official collab?
