After announcing his departure from dubstep in September, King Joe will soon step away from the stage for the foreseeable future. But that doesn’t mean he’ll stop dropping tunes, as the Philly-born producer still has a few wubby tricks and bass-infused treats up his sleeve.
Returning with the fifth edition of his signature Halloween mix series, Haunted Kingdom 005 delivers a dark, cinematic experience that captures the eerie energy of October nights.
Released on Monday, October 14, Haunted Kingdom 005 was made “for the ones who find beauty in the shadows.” Featuring massive collaborations with Dublink, Packet Loss, and Smokestax, the mix showcases King Joe’s ability to balance storytelling with heavy-hitting basslines and haunting melodies.
Filled with immersive soundscapes and deep-cutting bass, Haunted Kingdom 005 stands as another reminder of why King Joe will forever resonate through the underground.
