Every single thing you’ve ever known, every single thing you’ve ever felt, it is all from the same source.

Reality is not merely a random accident but an interconnected process of design and synchronicity. Driven by the golden ratio of the Fibonacci sequence, the “uni-verse” moves to one song in a great cosmic dance of existence, and right now it wants to dance to some itchy-scratchy brain music.

Emerging out of complete oblivion, Subtronics is not only back, he’s stepping through the portal, into the infinite with Fibonacci Part 2: Infinity.

Released today, December 5, through his own imprint Cyclops Recordings, Fibonacci Part 2: Infinity serves as the acclaimed dubstep producer’s third album, completing the final chapter of the Fibonacci experience.

“My album Fibonacci is representative of everything in life, an all-encompassing code to the world, which is what the Fibonacci sequence actually is in science and nature,” Subtronics explained.

With a sound that transcends space and time while dismantling the notion of genres, he doesn’t just push bass music into a realm of endless possibilities but ventures even deeper into the unfolding nature of this reality.

With a fury of mind-bending wubs, earth-shaking bass, and festival-ready bangers, Subtronics first introduced us to Fibonacci by blasting us straight into the void. But if Part 1: Oblivion took us to the doorway of reality, Part 2: Infinity is what happens when we step through the portal.

That first step begins with Infinity as Subtronics layers Grabbitz’ soaring heartfelt vocals with a fusion of ethereal soundscapes, hypnotic tones, and fluttering vibrations that gently push you into the currents of the cosmos.

Of course, surrendering to the infinite can feel like falling. The next track Anxious perfectly captures those intrusive thoughts of uncertainty and fear through infectious basslines, triggering vocal loops, and glitchy dance-fueled beats.

With F**k Up, the energy then starts to morph into warping textures before seismic drops of bass, not only f**k you up but launch you into another dimension.

From there, Subtronics circles through an immersive spectrum of sounds woven together by a thread of raw emotion and profound reflection.

From the dreamlike melodies of Antidote (Midnight Coffee) featuring CREG to the wompy bass drops of Gangstas and the sonic euphoria of Friends with Linney, Subtronics effortlessly travels between worlds, realities, and sound itself.

“When I write music, it takes me on journeys through emotions and different worlds I’m trying to build, with my own code/sound. I feel so much through the process and want to bring that same experience to listeners.”– Subtronics

Fibonacci holds the key to Subtronics’ artistry.

In science, the Fibonacci sequence holds the key to understanding nature’s design, where harmony evolves into atoms, molecules, stars, galaxies, planets, and eventually you and me.

Infinity is not just defined as infinite space, but endless possibilities. Oblivion, on the other hand, is a state of being unaware. If you work your way backwards from the moment of creation, you’ll eventually get to the moment before the Big Bang, when the universe was unaware of its infinite potential.

In the same way, Fibonacci reveals the growth of Subtronics through his artistic journey, where String Theory evolves into Fractals, then into Tesseract, and now, finally, into Fibonacci.

And if you work your way back from every album, every ID,  every bass drop, you’ll eventually arrive at the moment right before Subtronics ever opened up Ableton, unaware of what was about to unfold.

With Fibinocci, Subtronics not only pushes the boundaries of bass music but takes a bold leap into the infinite, expanding, like the universe, well beyond his signature sound.

“The album is my personal journal from the past two years, a range of emotions and experiences, a range of worlds and realities in song-form. A lot of the tracks are very different from anything I’ve released before, and I’m excited to showcase 15 years of progress with it.”- Subtronics
